Bulk email classification finished in seconds at pennies in API cost

Where it lands

Maps directly to inbox triage: agent labels and routes; human handles escalations, refunds, and anything legal. Run daily on a sampled batch first, then full inbox with audit log, you approve category definitions and when auto-archive is allowed.

@rileybrown

Founder office hours focused on early-stage prioritization across many open problems

Maps to weekly planning: rank open tickets, unpaid invoices, hires, and agent experiments before adding features. No tool replaces sequencing judgment. A human still decides what ships this week and what waits, especially when follow-up SLAs compete with build time.

@paulg

Managers report design

Land in org/process design: who owns spec, implementation, and customer comms on each ticket or deal stage. Update RACI and review gates before daily agents blur accountability. You still approve role boundaries, escalations, and anything client-facing or contractual.

@emollick

Author announces a product or company pivot with a link to details

Lands in your weekly roadmap review and customer comms queue: read the linked change, map it to open tickets and renewals, then decide whether backlog or SLAs shift. Human still approves contract language, refund policy, and any public announcement before it goes out.

@poteto

Post-crisis fear creates room for faster-moving founders

In a slowdown, run weekly on AR follow-ups and renewal risk before greenlighting new agent experiments. Daily change: prioritize cash-collection tickets and scope cuts in the standup backlog. Human approves which clients to chase, discounts, and layoffs vs hiring.

@PeterDiamandis

Raises a warning that venture funding implies decades of hyper-growth pressure

Land at the fundraising decision gate before you sign a term sheet. You still choose growth targets, hiring pace, burn, and whether revenue quality beats headline scale; this shapes risk tolerance for years.

@jasonlk

Complaint that one business banking provider allows only one physical card

Lands in vendor evaluation for company spend: compare card limits, replacement downtime, and multi-user policies before renewal. Human approves which provider holds payroll float and who gets physical versus virtual cards.

Finance@levelsio

Study argues success rate per hour beats hours saved as an AI

Lands in weekly ops review: track completed follow-ups, closed tickets, or sent proposals with a quality pass, not just time shaved. Human defines what counts as success (no rework, client accepted) before automating more steps.

@hnshah

New interdisciplinary institute to study long-horizon AI economic and social impact

Macro signal for quarterly risk reviews and AI usage policy docs, not daily inbox or ticket ops. Useful when leadership asks what automation might change hiring or client work. Humans still set automation boundaries, vendor choices, and what agents may touch in finance or legal flows.

Policy@demishassabis

Interview clip

Sets the bar for internal pilots: measure hours saved on follow-up, tickets, and invoicing, not demo wow. Human approves which workflow gets automated first and whether ROI justifies subscription spend.
